  1. Lina says:

I will never forget the plight and struggles of the survivors/victims of clergy abuse especially in the Pembroke Diocese.

Living in this diocese the odds are I will meet Catholic clergy at different functions and events. It is usually just hello and good-bye.
I’m steady learning to deal with these priests in a painful mature way.

The other day I entered the funeral home I came face to face with Fr. Peter Proulx (of The Most Holy Name of Jesus Church).

We had conversation about a minute and a half.

I introduce myself and named a few family members, I did tell him I knew the former parish priest and as for myself I left the Catholic Church but gave him no reasons.

I ask him if he got my note I delivered a short while ago. His secretary did put an envelope on his desk but he hadn’t opened it yet.

In short, the note said…’Father, I came across these two cards recently. These cards are bless. You can do whatever you see fit with them. Thank-you.’
    I signed my full name.

The two cards were the ordination of Rev. Robert L. Borne. (Msgr. R. L. Borne)

Anyone who had dealings or work with victims of clergy abuse knows the history and position held by Fr. Peter Proulx.

Just look at the pictures posted above by Sylvia on this thread of Fr. Peter Proulx walking with Fr. Dan Miller.

It does remind me…a picture is worth a thousand words.
