A trial date has been set for a former Bathurst-area priest charged with a number of sex-offences dating back to the 1980’s. Charles Picot wasn’t in Bathurst court this morning however lawyer David Paulin entered a not-guilty plea on his behalf. Picot is charged with indecent assault, gross indecency and sexual assault. Judge Camille Dumas set aside two days for the trial. Proceedings are scheduled to take place May 26th and 27th at 9:30am.
