    It looks as though the appeal was heard today by the Supreme Court of Canada.  Note one of the lawyers is Charles Gibson.  Gibson is an Ottawa-based lawyer.

    Doe any victims have any news on what happened today?

    It looks as though the appeal is allowed.  I found this News Release of today on the Supreme Court website.  The oral judgement will be online in 48 hours:
