 The Guelph Police Service commenced an investigation in December 2010 into a historical allegation of sexual impropriety. That investigation led police to the arrest of James (Jim) Boudreau (67 years old), on January 12th, 2011, on that date Mr. Boudreau was charged with one count of Sexual Assault. This allegation dates back to 1984. During that time James Boudreau was a pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, located in Guelph.

Upon conclusion of the first investigation a second victim has come forward to the police alleging once again sexual impropriety by James Boudreau. The police conducted an investigation, into the 1983 occurrence and on February 28th, 2010, James Boudreau was arrested and charged with Sexual Assault.
James Boudreau has been a parish priest involved with numerous churches in Southern Ontario.

James Boudreau 67 years is scheduled to appear for a Bail Hearing on the 1st
day of March, 2011, at 36 Wyndham Street South, Guelph, for the second
offence.
