A disgraced former Roman Catholic priest, jailed in 2010 for sexually abusing three altar boys, now faces sex charges involving three other victims.
Ontario Provincial Police in Haldimand County have charged Donald Grecco, 75, of Peel Region, with gross indecency and indecent assault on a male after another victim came forward to report sex assaults which occurred in Niagara Region in 1975 when the victim was about 13 years old.
Grecco will face the latest charges on Tuesday, Dec. 8 in provincial court in Cayuga.
Over the past several months, police have been investigating a series of sexual assaults which had occurred between 1975 to 1982 involving young males. The assaults occurred at locations in Niagara Region, Haldimand County and the United States.
Grecco was charged Sept. 25 with four more alleged sex crime offences involving two other victims. He will appear in provincial court in Cayuga on Dec. 8 on those charges.
Police say the alleged incidents occurred while the accused was a priest at St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church, Cayuga, Haldimand County, St. Kevin’s Roman Catholic Church, Welland, and St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Niagara Falls, Ont.

I’ve added three more articles to the original post. The info in each article is essentially a repeat of articles already posted here so decided to pop them in after the fact 🙂
Hi Sylvia!
Even though I haven’t been in touch, I follow your site daily and hope all is well with you and your family. Re. the Greccos, Pat was a deacon during my first year at St. Augustine’s which was 1960-61 so he would have been ordained in spring or summer of 1961… a very nice fellow with a beautiful singing voice. Don was in the class ahead of me and would have been ordained in 1966…obviously not so nice a fellow at all in retrospect! Keep up the wonderful work you do even though I don’t know how you do it.
Paul
Thank you Paul. Next week I will add info on the pdf file re Pat’s date of ordination.
Mike and I will be attending Tuesday, December 8th at 2:00pm at the Cayuga Court house to show support for those that recently came forward. Take care Gina

Great news Gina!

Full Publication ban in place
Thanks Gina. Did they mention a time? If not, I will track it down.
Did he show up, or was it just lawyers? and, finally did his lawyer request the publication ban?
Hi Sylvia,
It is at 2 pm again, Grecco was not there and he was represented by duty council. The crown attorney asked for the ban and that was the first order of business when the case was called.
Thanks Gina. I have noted the time.
