In memory of Barb

In memory of Barb MacKerrow.  May her dear soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace.

The Father Mark Buckley page is posted 🙂  If I come across other documents which I feel should be posted I will do so and let you know.  There are a a number of documents which I have, for various reasons,  opted not to post at this time.

Has anyone heard the outcome of the Alberta Teacher’s Association disciplinary hearing, or, does it take a few days for a decision?  (I believe the hearings wrapped up on Thursday last?  )

I did send an email off to the Diocese of Peterborough asking is Father Bickley has been laicized, and, if yes, when.  No response as yet.

The trial of previously convicted molester and former teacher  Marcel Lalonde trial is scheduled to resume tomorrow in Cornwall:

14 -17 November & 06  December 2017:  10 am, continuation of TRIAL which commenced 12 Dec. 2016, Cornwall, Ontario  courthouse (29 Second St. W., )

I tried to confirm but it’s a provincial holiday today so the courthouse is closed. I do encourage those who can do so to attend.

Please keep the complainant in your prayers.

Next on my list is comments about Father Gaetian Deschamps.

Enough for now,

As of November 2017, Mark Buckley was living in Peterborough, according to the Alberta Teachers’ Association disciplinary hearing report.

His membership in the ATA has been cancelled, and a recommendation made to the province to cancel his teaching certificate. There is nothing stopping him from teaching again in another province or country, or taking up other positions of trust. This was all related to professional conduct, not criminal charges.

The release of this information was delayed for many months.

    What would Barb say?

Mark Buckley “retired” and is running a restaurant in Peterborough. It has an animal theme.

Thank you Anonymous! Barb would weep.

I am posting the article re the pet shop and will try to find and post the ATA ruling.

  4. Sylvia says:

I found the ruling – it’s linked into the other article re Buckley losing his teaching certificate in Alberta.

Will get all this disturbing news posted by day’s end.

    Thanks again Anonymous.

Is Mark Buckley still a priest? More bad news today. Another Calgary priest will go unnamed.
