Winnipeg court date

Previously convicted Oblate priest Father Omer Desjardins has a court date in Winnipeg today:

Monday, 24 April 2017:  1 pm,  “to be spoken to,” court room # 302, Winnipeg Provincial courthouse (Main Floor, 408 York Ave.)

Please keep Joe and the other complainant in your prayers.   If anyone sees or hears news of the outcome, please pass it along.

I’ll be back later this morning with more news and thoughts on other cases in the news.

    Defense tried to get an adjournment for 3 months …… she got half that, next court date is june 12 1pm rm 302. No new info today.

    Thanks Joe. I have made note of the next date on the Father Omer Desjardins page and added the date to the legal calendar.

    Thank goodness she didn’t get the full three months, right?

      I’ll say…. Wasn’t very happy about the 6 weeks….. I am at the point that I just want it over with. It seems like there is something going on, but nobody is saying anything….. I guess we will see.
