Court news:

(1)  Father Jacques Faucher (convicted molester, Ottawa Archdiocese)

So, on the breach of release charge Father Faucher entered a guilty plea on 01 February 2017:  He was sentenced to 40 days in jail with recognition for the 28 days he had already served.  As I mentioned before, a ragged and unshaven Faucher carrying a brown paper bag in each hand was spotted walking towards his home in Gatineau on 08 February 2017.

There you go.  A convicted molester violates his release conditions by hanging around the children’s swimming pool and that’s it:   “Tut. Tut. Bad bad boy!”

I have no idea what happened to the previously scheduled court date of 13 February.  According to the court clerk with whom I spoke the matter wrapped up 01 February.

Faucher was due in an Ottawa courtroom at 2 pm this afternoon for sentencing on his sex abuse convictions.   I have seen no word yet on the outcome.

Please keep the victims in your prayers.

(2)  Nathan Labatt (Former youth volunteer with Archdiocese of Regina, Saskatchewan Youth Ministry)

The next court date for Nathan Labatt on his Humboldt, Saskatchewan charges is:

03 March 2017:  Pre-trial hearing (NOT open to the public), Saskatoon Court of Queen’s Bench courthouse (520 Spadina Crescent E, Saskatoon, SK)

Please keep the complainants in your prayers.

(3)  Barry McGrory (previously convicted molester, Archdiocese of Ottawa)

I am awaiting a call back with information on the next court date.

Please keep the victims in your prayers.
