Previously convicted molester and priest with the Archdiocese of Ottawa Father Barry McGrory has a court date tomorrow:

15 February 2017:  08:30 am.  “to be spoken to,”  courtroom #5, Ottawa courthouse (161 Elgin St.)

These charges were just’ laid November 2016 so it’s probable that this will be another of those ‘short and sweet’ court dates which are over and done with in the twinkle of an eye.  Chances are high that Father McGgroy is not required to and will not be present.  However, if anyone is free to attend I encourage you to do so.  It is always nice to now exactly what happens.

Please keep the victims in your prayers.

I see no media coverage as yet on the Father Jacques Faucher court date of this morning *13 Feb.) in Gatineau.  This morning’s court date was in relation to the new breach of release.     Has anyone seen or heard anything?

It’s a busy week for Father Faucher.  He is due in an Ottawa, Ontario court this coming Thursday for sentencing.

Let’s hope and pray the breach charge does not interfere in any way shape or form with sentencing.  The victims have been waiting for this predatory priest to be sentenced for nearly a full year now (He was convicted March 2016).

Please keep the victims in your prayers.

I wonder if any action has been taken as yet by the Ottawa Archdiocese to have both of these clerical sexual predators defrocked?  There surely has been ample time to get Father Barry McGgrory ‘out’ – he  entered a guilty plea back in 1993, and here we are 23 years, and he’s still a priest!  Are the wheels in motion to have this accomplished before he goes to trial?

As for Father Faucher, well, he was convicted a year ago, so there’s no excuse in the world for not having the process well under way by now.  Is there?

Enough for now,

Sylvia
