A reminder that one of Father Robyn Gwyn‘s sex abuse trials is scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday 02 February 2016)
02 August 2016: 10 am, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, 5 Court Street, Kingston
Father Gwyn, a priest with the Archdiocese of Kingston, Ontario, was charged September 2014.
At the time charges were laid Gwyn was living in Berwick, Nova Scotia: he disappeared from st. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Carleton Place May 2004 on what was described as an “indefinite leave from active ministry.”
I encourage those who can do so to attend. Please keep the complainant in your prayers.

As mentioned elsewhere, I am attempting to find out what happened to the charges against Father Roger Pronovost. Father Pronovost was charged February 2014 with two counts of sexual assault and one count of sexual exploitation. The charges date to 1987-1989 when the male complainant was a teenager. He is a priest with the Diocese of Hearst Ontario.
According to Teresa Duffus, the charges have been dropped. I am trying to find out what happened here: there doesn’t seem to be any media coverage at all. So, I do have a call in – today is a holiday here in Canada so there will be no news until at least tomorrow or Wednesday. When I hear anything I will let you know, meanwhile, if anyone can give us any further information please do.

Today, Monday 01 August 2016 is a holiday for most Canadians. Enjoy the day 🙂 Enough for now,
