You may have noticed that Sylvia’s Site ‘disappeared.’     This morning I received an email from my web host in Sweden advising that because of a defective server my account had to be transferred to a new server.  Sylvia’s Site had to be “propagated”  again – I received instructions on what must be done on my side of the world 🙂  Done!

Right now it looks as though things are basically up and running again, but, a caution,  there may be glitches as things settle in.   It’s a very large site – I am hoping and praying that everything transferred smoothly 🙂

This week in court:

(1)   Father Denis Vaillancourt (Diocese of Alexandria-Cornwall, Ontario):

The charges against the former long time Chancellor of the Alexandria-Cornwall Diocese were laid October 2015.  Father Vaillancourt has a court-date this week:

Wednesday, 09 March 2016:  09:00 am, “to set a date,” Alexandria, Ontario courthouse (110 Main St. North)

I have no idea as to what this date is being set for.   It could be anything, but, so soon after charges were laid it is doubtful that it will be setting a date for trial date.

Please keep the complainant and his family in your prayers.

(2)  Brian Lucy (former organist Archdiocese of Kingston, Ontario)

Previously convicted molester  Brian Lucy, currently serving five years for his crimes, is facing anew charge of gross indecency.  Lucy has a court-date this week on the new charge:

Friday, 11 March 2016:  09:00 am, “to be spoken to,”  Brockville Ontario courthouse (41 Court House Square)

Please keep the complainant and his family in your prayers..

I’m still getting the new computer set up.  Last week was huge headaches getting Microsoft Outlook set up.  Ma Bell and Microsoft have ended an agreement whereby Bell looked after Outlook, so it was time with Bell and time with Microsoft – two days of literally hours on the phone until Outlook was functional.    So, now I am receiving email on new computer – still have to transfer emails from old computer, but, Outlook is functional! 🙂

Oh my, I swear to goodness that  all of this tech stuff with computers and serves will be the bain of my existence!

Enough for now,

Sylvia
