The next court date for ex-priest and previously convicted child molester Donald Grecco on his St. Catharine’s Ontario charges is:
01 March 2016: 09:00 am, “to be spoken to,” courtroom #2, ;16 February 2016: 9 am, Robert S. K. Welch St Catharine’s courthouse, St. Catharine’s, Ontario (59 Church St.)
I had been told by court staff that these charges are different than those in Cayuga, but as I look today at the charges and dates in Cayuga and St. Catharine’s I’m not so sure. Today I found out that there are three complainants on the St. Catharine’s charges, – the same as Cayuga. The nature and number of the charges are the same for both. Back on 20 January Mike Blum said the charges were being transferred, and I think that is exactly what is happening here.
So, Grecco has a court date in Cayuga next week:
23 February 2016: 2 pm, “to be spoken to,” Cayuga court house (55 Munsee St. N., Cayuga, Ontario)
The above could be finalizing the transfer of charges from one jurisdiction to another? I should be able to find out on the 24th if that is the case and then this will finally be sort4ed out. Things always get confusing when charges are moved from one jurisdiction to another.
