Busy days these days keeping tabs on courtdates. Here are the latest:
(1) Former Cornwall Catholic teacher Marcel Lalonde.
Thursday, 12 February 2015: 10 am, Assignment Court, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Cornwall, Ontario courthouse (29 Second St. W.)
I don’t know what happened on Monday. I was told today that Assignment court is never conducted on Mondays. Anyway, Marcel Lalonde has a courtdate tomorrow morning in Cornwall. If anyone can be there to get a feel for what is going on please do.

(2) Father Peter Groulx (Diocese of Thunder Bay, Ontario)

I don’t know if I mentioned this before or not, but, just as a piece of interest, Justice Terence Platana served as a Deacon at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Dryden, Ontario for some if not all the years in which Father Groulx served there as Pastor. Whether they were good friends or not I have no idea, but let’s just trust and hope and pray this doesn’t go to trial only to find Justice Platana at the bench.

(3) Father Robyn Gwyn (Archdiocese of Kingston, Ontario)
03 June 2015: 10 am, “to be spoken to,”Kingston Ontario courthouse (279 Wellington St.)
I have been told that somewhere around 2005 or 2006 Father Gwyn bought a hobby farm in the Berwick Nova Scotia area. You may recall that on 04 May 20014 the Kingston Archdiocese announced that Father Gwyn retired and went on “an indefinite leave of absence.”
I have also been told but have not yet confirmed that Father Gwyn hired young people in the area to do tasks around the farm such as cutting wood and bailing hay.
I am curious as to whether he attended Mass in Berwick, or if he perhaps on occasion assisted at Mass and/or heard confession in Berwick or one of the surrounding communities?
If anyone can provide further information on Father Gwyn’s years in Berwick please contact me (cornwall@theinquiry.ca)

I will make mention yet again of the strange situation unfolding in the press regarding Father Joseph Gorman at Our Lady of Grace in Aurora, Ontario? ( Click here for a link to an article and google his name. There is a fair bit of media coverage)
If anyone has any further information please contact me. I truly can not sort out what the situation is without hearing from and/or talking to parishioners.
