I say prayers for the alleged victim and his family ( I say alleged, because only God and the alleged victim know the truth. Father Labelle …REST IN PEACE. God loves you….and the alleged victim and his family.
This site is a witch hunt…. it’s quite obvious something must have happened a long time ago to the witch or her family member or a friend that keeps this bitterness against the Catholic Church going on and on. I would hate to think she receives the Body and Blood of Christ every weekend (or weekday ). What a hypocrite if she does receive.

Unbelievable, never wish it on anyone, but if you were to ever see the anguish and long term devastation sexual abuse has on an individual, your statement would turn on a dime…..to call Sylvia a witch is quite laughable, very easy to make such comments and hide behind a first name handle….

Is this summary of your post accurate?
1. “Be quiet; God judges; not you; Shame on you” — which, BTW, is a judgemental last statement.
2. “Sylvia is acting on past trauma” Well, that is armchair psychobabble regarding someone you clearly do not know.
3. “Remember, Sylvia, Karma is around the corner.” Which form of Karma will that be, Angie? Hindu style, Buddhist style? Strange statement from a fervent Christian.
You probably are not interested in my suggestion but I will provide none the less. If Labelle was a friend/colleague/mentor/teacher/priest/relative, remember the good and acknowledge the failures. And work on prevention — prevention of sexual abuse; prevention of corporate denial; prevention of suicide. In doing so, you will be helping others and maybe there will be a personal benefit/relief. And, even though it seems unlikely today, you may develop the realization that this site is not the enemy. I look forward to hearing from you in the future.

I was with him the night before. No clue that he was feeling this way. 30 years later in, it comes to my attention that Father Labelled had committed suicide himself. Back in 1984, my friend Richard had been an altar boy. Guess who the Priest was? You guessed it. Everything fell into place now. It took 30 years to find out why my friend took his own life. I don’t mourn the loss of this paedophile, Labelle, I just wonder how many other boys he molested over the years, and no one knew?
