It never rains but it pours!
Yesterday my Microsoft Outlook email box started kicking up. In short order I moved from, amongst other problems, having great difficulty sending emails to being unable to activate the send button period.
After some time trying to sort out the problem I discovered that as of April of this year my Outlook version ’03 is no longer supported by Microsoft, which means of course that if glitches arise in the program they will never get fixed.
Not good news.
So, time to upgrade.
I just got that all wrapped up about an hour ago 🙂
On top of that, problems with email. The time not spent getting new email box up and running was spent trying to sort out why the influx from Ma Bell about passwords and its failure to recognize my password. And then all emails stopped – nothing could be sent, and nothing received.
So, onto the phone t reset password. The discovered that my husband was in the same boat with his laptop, and then that our mobiles were not receiving emails either.
I think everything is working again. I’ll cross my fingers on that 🙂
Meanwhile my poor husband is home suffering from one dandy toothache. He is scheduled to have it extracted in the morning, so that’s good, but meanwhile he is suffering terribly, and his jaw is swollen out like a balloon. So it’s icepacks and Tylenol with Codeine day and night. This has been going on since Saturday – I think the post extraction discomfort will be a welcome relief. I hope so.
I haven’t been near theinquiry.cva since yesterday – the priority became getting emails coming and going again.
As I say, sometimes it truly never rains but it pours.
Enough for now,
