(2) Father Daniel Moreau

I haven’t seen any media coverage on either of the above. If anyone was in court and knows the outcome please post a comment or send me an email. I will also try to get an update tomorrow.

There are two courtdates tomorrow, Tuesday, 08 October 2013. Please keep the complainants in your prayers, and please, if you are free to do so, pop into the courtroom to find out what is happening. Here are the two:
(1) Father Jacques Faucher
08 October 2013: 08:30 am, courtroom #5, “to be spoken to” Ottawa Ontario courthouse (161 Elgin St.)
(2) Father Howard Cahbot
08 October 2013: 09:30 am, Pembroke, Ontario courthouse, (297 Pembroke St. East)
I had great plans to attend either one or the other of these, but – I picked up a nasty cold/flu from my husband and will not be going anywhere tomorrow. My husband has been home sick with this bug since Wednesday of last week. He seemed to rally on Saturday and then back it came on Sunday. Meanwhile I was smitten on Saturday evening 🙁 Husband is still under the weather today, so, we’re a great pair 🙂
So, since I will not be venturing out at all I’m really hoping someone will be able to get to court both in Ottawa and in Pembroke. Please, if you do make it, post a comment giving us the update, or, send me an email.

The situation which I referenced last week in a request for prayers is still far from resolved. Please please keep the prayers going. How I wish I could tell you what is happening – it truly is an unbelievable and horrific situation. And how I wish I could tell you that all is well. I can not.
I am beyond trying to understand where people’s heads are where it comes to protecting children from sexual predators, both in and out of the Church. The only for sure is that all too often they are not with the children. I dare say no more.
Enough for now,
Sylvia
