The next court date for Father Jacques Faucher is

10 September 2013: 08:30 am,  courtroom #5, “to be spoken to,” Ottawa Ontario courthouse (161 Elgin St.)

There are now a total of 28 charges against Father Faucher

10 gross indecency

10 indecent assault Male

8 indecent assault

All charges are laid in accord with the Criminal Code of Canada as it stood at the time of the alleged offenses.

I was in the court room for a while this morning but had to leave before Father Faucher’s case was called.  To my knowledge Faucher was not present in the courtroom today.  I know that there were at least two other people attending with an interest in these charges

Has anyone heard or read anything regarding the outcome of Father John E. Sullivan’s court date of today in North Bay, Ontario?

I probably won’t have a chance to find out any more tomorrow – would appreciate any news anyone can send along.

Father Philip Jacobs has a court date tomorrow afternoon in Victoria, BC:

Wednesday, 29 May 2013:  2 pm.  Victoria courthouse, Victoria, BC

This is a progress review to see if the pre-sentencing and forensic psychiatric report are completed.  If they are completed  a sentencing date will be set.

I encourage all those who can do so to attend, both to support the victims and to give us an idea of what is happening.

As always, keep the victims in your prayers.  The fact that there has been a conviction does not by any means that the victims are no longer in need of our prayers and support.  The same holds true the families of the victims.

As I said before, I am busy this week with other matters.  I don’t feel at liberty to say any more, but perhaps at some day will do so.  For now, I ask special prayers for a dear friend in need of prayers.

Enough for now,

Sylvia
