Thanks to JG, the English translation of the video posted last evening has been added to that page. I have also added Elie and Laurette’s wedding picture.
I believe the video speaks for itself. Sad indeed.
I believe the first time Elie Theriault talked about the clerical sexual sex abuse was when he was 89-years-old. Imagine. At age 89 it was still haunting him! It just never went away. And there he is at 95. On his death bed.
And Father Leon Gagnon was just recycled on.
And, there were others.
As I say, and will repeat yet again, may he rest in peace.
There are several courtdates this week. Mark your calendars now:

(3) Friday, 31 May 2013
(i) Father Eric Dejaeger omi
EDMONTON, Alberta charges:
31 May 2013: Pre-trial hearing (NOT open to the public)
Barring a decision to enter a guilty plea on these charges I rather doubt that Father Dejaeger will be in Edmonton for this. He has – or perhaps had? – a preliminary hearing scheduled for those Edmonton charges 2-3 December 2013. BUT, he has 10-week-trial starting in Nunavut 28 October 2013. I can’t see how he’s going to be in Edmonton for a prelim in early December?
I will have to try to find out if the date for the prelim has been changed. I will do so next week.
Please, as always, keep the complainants in your prayers. And, as always, I encourage those who are free to do so and within driving distance of the courthouse to attend.
I will be busy during the day for most of this week. Please send along any and all news and/or link to media coverage of the outcome of these court dates.
Enough for now,
