Court

Father Piotr Sanczenko had a court date yesterday (Tuesday, 05 March 2013) at the Chatham Ontario courthouse “for possible resolution.”

Has anyone heard the outcome?  I will try to find out tomorrow, but if anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated.

Two court dates today (Wednesday, 05 March 2013:

(1) Father Philip Jacobs

I don’t have the start time, but this is back at the Victoria courthouse to set a date for the sentencing hearing.

I don’t know that there will be much to see to hear, but sometimes strange things happen in court when you least expect it.   At the end of the day though there should definitely be a date set for the sentencing hearing.  The judge had previously indicated that the hearing would be in about three months.

As always, please keep the victims in your prayers, and, if you know what happens send an email or post a comment on the Father Philip Jacobs thread.

(2) Father Linus Bastien

Father Linus Bastien has a court date this morning on the Chatham charges:  9 am, Chatham Ontario courthouse, “to be spoken to.”

There will probably not be much happening in the court room aside the setting of a new date.  I don’t know if the plan is to merge the Chatham with the Windsor charges so that all the charges move towards trial together and in the same jurisdiction.  If that’s the case these charges should become part of the preliminary hearing in Windsor 15-19 July 2013.   I will try to find out if that’s the case, or if a decision has been made to try the Chatham charges on their own.

Please keep all the complainants in your prayers, and, as always, if you have any information regarding the outcome please send me an email ot posta  comment on Sylvia’s Site on the Father Linus Bastien thread.

I was out all afternoon and into mid evening yesterday – a dear friend is in poor health.  A difficult day.

Enough for now,

Sylvia
