Something went awry with my Microsoft Outlook, which I use for my personal emails. I could suddenly neither send nor receive emails. I fiddled around for ages trying to get things fixed and functioning before finally calling Ma Bell. Quite some time was then spent re-setting passwords and settings – in the process the technician had to check something on my Windows Live Mail, which I use for Sylvia’s Site. Bell is not responsible for and will not address issues with Windows Live Mail. Well, now my personal email is working, but everything I send from the site email goes out with my personal email address on it. I fear it will cause much confusion. I called Bell back – was unable to speak to the technician whom I dealt with before, and was told by a different technician that Microsoft has changed something or other as a security thing, and that all sorts of people are having this problem and there’s nothing that can be done!
Well, this is a bit of a pickle to be in. It’s not that I mind people getting my email address, but a case of keeping emails semi-organized.
Anyway, an entire afternoon lost fiddling around with all of this stuff 🙁 Not sure what I will or can do to fix things. Right now I have no option but to try things for a few days and see how I can deal with it.
I don’t know if you can make any sense out of all of this. The bottom line is that this has been a bit of a time consuming headache, and it probably isn’t over 🙁 I just am not and never will be a computer nerd!

Right on jj!!! Hey Sylvia, remember my trip to Windsor last fall? Trouble comes in lumps, but after the dust settles you can find all the pieces and put it back together again.
Just a little aside, I went out and bought lovey (Marla, that is) a nice new shiny Ipad.
Well guess what!!! Mike’s luck has returned. The damn thing doesn’t work. I will march on Telus tomorrow morning with battle in mind. I wonder if I’ll get a parking ticket? Or maybe the car won’t start? Or perhaps I’ll be struck down by a tire falling off one of those new Dreamliner 787’s? We’ll see, and I’ll let you know first off.
