Father Joe LeClair has a court date tomorrow morning (Wednesday, 05 September 2012): 08:30 am, courtroom #5, Ottawa, Ontario courthouse (161 Elgin St.), “to be spoken to.”
Chances are high that Father LeClair will NOT be there, but, as I often say, one never knows. Whether he is there or not it will probably be dealt with in a matter of minutes and another court date will be set. I remind everyone that the charges were laid 03 July 2012 – it generally takes at least a year before a case moves from charges laid to trial.

I blogged a few comments earlier today regarding the outcome of Basilian priest Father William Hodgson Marshall’s Windsor Ontario court date of today. I won’t repeat myself other than to say again: This makes no sense.
Hod’s next court date is 16 October at 09:30 am to possibly set a date for resolution.
Possibly?!!!
As an aside here, Andrew Bradie (Father Hod Marshall’s lawyer) will probably be hopping a plane for Ottawa tomorrow. Father Kenneth O’Keefe csb, also a Basilian, has a pre-trial conference at 0:930 am in Ottawa on Thursday 06 September, Bradie is O’Keefe’s lawyer too.
That pre-trial conference of O’Keefe’s is NOT open to the public, but without doubt Bradie will be there doing whatever he can to either get Father O’Keefe off the hook, or, failing that, negotiating some sort of sweet deal on his behalf.

I have neither heard nor seen anything on the outcome of the Father John Sullivan and Father Jean-Claude Lefebvre court dates of today. If there is no news I will check on Thursday or Friday to get the next court dates.
Enough for now,
