Just a quick reminder that Father Yvon Doiron has a court date tomorrow morning at 09:30 am in the Campbellton courthouse. This is to set a date to put the probation officer who compiled the pre-sentence report n the stand. You will probably recall that at the sentencing hearing of Monday past defence objected to segments of the report – apparently there was about three hours of teleconferenced argument regarding the contents!
Tomorrow morning’s hearing is open to the public, but it too will be conducted by teleconference. I doubt very much that under the circumstances Doiron will be there. Whether or not the hearing will be a simple matter of picking an agreeable date for one and all remains to be seen. These hearings can be so very unpredictable.
