Just a update and explanation as to my silence
As you know, I am in the State. My husband and I came down to see four little grand-daughters dance in the Nutcracker. Three performances: Friday evening, Saturday matinee, and Saturday evening. The eldest of the four was the Saturday night Clara.
Beautiful! We were typical proud grand-parents.
The flu has been on the go. Last week our daughter’s entire family was hit in waves. Thankfully for them it was only rehearsals which were missed. They were all well enough to dance at the finals performances. Others were less fortunate. At least six were sick for each performance – a huge disappointment for little ones who have worked so hard for so long.
Last night it was my husband’s turn. He took ill after the final performance – was sick as a dog all night and is still feeeling absolutely miserable. And now of course it’s my turn 🙁 We are quite a pair!
One way or the other we will be homeward bound in the morning as planned. It should be an interesting trip 🙂
Enough for now,
Sylvia

Save travels Sylvia. No doubt you and your beloved will be happy to get back to your own home… especially if either of you is sick with a flu! I will pray for a tranquil voyage home.
