Well, my bags are packed and I’m ready to go. And much to my surprise and great relief I am ready for Christmas.
We are off bright and early in the morning to spend Christmas with family in the States. There will be eight wee ones by the tree Christmas morning so the car is loaded up like Santa’s sleigh 🙂
I will be taking my computer along and will check on the site a couple of times a day, both to delete any spam which creeps into the comments and to see if anything needs to be posted. I will keep it to a minimum but will blog when I can and try to keep up with email. I’ll be back home on the 27th. And I will definitely blog before Christmas.

Three court dates yesterday – nothing in the news that I have seen on any. I will check on them all after Christmas. As always if anyone has any news on any of the following please post a comment or send me an email at cornwall@theinquiry.ca

I have some further information on convicted molester Father Michael J. Walsh’s years in the Archdiocese of Halifax, Nova Scotia. I will get that posted after Christmas,

I posted two articles I have been wanting to get up:
05 December 2010: Bayonne man testifies about sex abuse at Jersey City church
This man teaches liturgy at the Gregorian in Rome!
05 December 2010: Newark archbishop shielded at least 4 priests accused of sexual abuse
More horror stories. They’re all different but somehow all eerily the same.

I received this beautiful little Christmas e-card a few days ago. I’ll pass it on. It’s sweet:

On that note I must call it a day – a long drive ahead tomorrow today, but I must say I’m looking forward to it 🙂
One final but important note, as excited as I am my thoughts and prayers are never far from those of you who are alone or going through particularly hard times this Christmas. I pray that God in His goodness and mercy will bless you with the peace that He alone can give and the grace to weather the storms.
Enough for now,
Sylvia
Have a very merry Christmas, Sylvia and a safe trip!
Thanks Valley Girl. We made it safe and sound – missed an exit and spent an extra hour on the road, but that aside it was a good trip – weather was in our favur and traffic was light.
Merry Christmas to you too!
