I thank God

Dear Lord help us, another one!  This time a “late vocation” to the priesthood.

Father Jean-Claude Lefebvre,a priest with the Diocese of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, has been charged with offences related to the sex abuse of  two young boys dating, in one case, 30-32 years, and, in the other, to 01 Jan. ‘89 to 31 December 1999.

Lefebvre was ordained in 2001.  According to media reports he pursued studies for the  priesthood after his wife’s death in the early 90s.  He has children and grandchildren.  He denies the charges.

The allegations related to the offences spanning the 90s would cover some of the years Lefebvre was in seminary.

I say Lord help us, another one!  I err.  In truth I thank God that those men had the courage to come forward.   My prayers are with them.  I pray that justice is done.

Enough for now,

Sylvia

Based on the information you have compiled on this website Sylvia, from various sources, I find it truly disgusting that at the very same time “Project Truth” investigations were taking place, and, the “Cornwall Public Inquiry”, it is alleged that multiple acts of clergy sexual were also taking place in Ontario and other venues in Canada. This is also a time when many eyes were on “the Church” and when “the Church et al” represented they were really double-checking their operations in “their own house” and guaranteeing “all was well within the ranks”. Bold or sociopaths?

Periodically, tidbits from each were reported throughout Ontario by the lapdog, mainstream news media. But, too bad…what the public has missed out on or don’t care about, is that the news is currently disseminated “regionally”; so what happens in Cornwall rarely, if ever, is news in Toronto or Calgary or Vancouver. People are intentionally kept in the dark; networking, prevention, education and activism, becomes almost impossible—social control.
