There are certainly variations from diocese to diocese, and questions as to the level of transparency in various dioceses, but,the thing that strikes me is that we are not remotley close to even the minimal level of transparency which is being executed in USA dioceses.

I have already asked but will also ask here again: Does anyone have any information on FatherWilliam Hodgson Marshall ( Hod Marshall) teaching at a Basilian school in Texas? TH thinks he was. Can anyone confirm? Can anyone give more details?
Speaking of Hod Marshall, his next court date is 14 July 2010. Also, he definitley was at St. Michael’s College school in the ealry 50s, either as a teacher or as a basketball coach. (Am I right that it is St. Michael’s college SCHOOL, meaning high school, vs the college/university? I am a little confused on this, but as I understand it there was St. Michael’s College AND St. Michael’s college school, the latter being high school and the former university, both run by the Basilians.)
