I’m back in business 🙂 My router died. Just crashed. It had been protesting for about a week – dropping my connection time and time again, and then it was gone. So, …..had to wait for a new router to arrive by purolator – arrived late yesterday. Then, …it kept rejecting my password. Then on the phone++with someone in India or Pakistan or wherever in the middle of the night. Finally, it’s up and running. Allelujah!
I have posted several articles to catch up. Others did a great job of copying the bad news on Donald Grecco’s sentencing hearing. I could not believe it when I heard it.
Sentencing postponed? Because he has to undergo tests? What does that have to do with anything? I swear the day “the system” expresses half as much concern for the sex abuse victims as it does for the molesters we will have turned a big corner. Just half.
Keep those victims in your prayers. This is a rough time for them.
Who would ever have predicted this?
Is this going to be the avenue for Grecco to ‘endure’ a week or two of house arrest?
I pray that that is not the case.
And I see too that more “alleged” victims of Father George Smith are coming forward. Way to go.
What stories of cover-up/recycling are going to come out of this one? (I see too that a mother reported her concerns about Grecco to the bishop in 1986. Nothing! The bishop of the day back then was Thomas Fulton)
I will get today’s articles up throughout the day but also have other commitments – I will grab time here and there as I can.
Before I call it a day, a question. Could someone send me a copy of Grecco’s apology? (email to cornwall@theinquiry.ca). It may will be in today’s papers in which case I can nab it there. But, if not, I would like to see it as I am sure would others.
Enough for now,
Sylvia
