Bad news….

David Silmserhad a heart attack last evening.  He is the Brockville hospital.  He will be transferred to the Kingston hospital tomorrow.

This is a shocker.  Dave is 50 years old.

I am told he is in a lot of pain.

Please please pray for Dave, his dear wife Pam, his mother, the children and the large Silmser family.

My goodness just this past Monday was Pam’s birthday.  Dave, Pam and the whole family celebrated at a local Cornwall restaurant.  Some of us who had attended the inquiry on Monday got wind of the event and decided to pop around to wish Pam a Happy Birthday.  We joined the group for supper.  A very pleasant two hours.  There must have been 25 to 30 of the Silmser family – a beautiful family.  It’s the first time I met Dave’s mother, the woman Dave so desperately wanted the apology for when he first approached the diocese in 1992.  Such a lovely lady.  She loves her boy 🙂  And he his mother 🙂  I had a deeper understanding of Dave’s over-riding desire to get an apology for his mother.  It’s hard to put to words, but I saw it.

Lots of prayers please.  This truly comes as a shock.

Cornwall has wrought so much pain for so many.  It just goes on and on and on. The vilifying and denigrating.  People can put up a brave face, but they can only take so much.  Somewhere this it has to end.

Those attending Mass tomorrow please remember Dave in a special way.

Pam, Mrs. Silmser, I know I speak for many when I say that our love, thoughts and prayers are with you.  Give Dave our love.

Written submissions  for Phase 2 have been posted on the Cornwall Public Inquiry website.  They are short.  An easy read.  I will post them on theinquiry.ca tomorrow evening, for now they can be accessed via this external link.

There is nothing more to say.

None of us are as strong as we think we might be and unfortunately our bodies have a way of telling us enough is enough. Dave has had enough. My prayers are with the Silmser family. Hang in there!
To All….(easier said than done)….take care of yourself!!! Find that balance between body and soul. We all need to find that balance!!!
    GOD BLESS!

My heart goes out to Dave and Pam and I wish them a quick recovery. When I hear of this kind of thing happening the red flags go up. Many of you know that I have been preaching this for years. Many do not want to beleive it. I hope this is NOT the case for Dave and Pam.
We know that the Cornwall Clan uses drugs and poisoning to disrupt lives.
We know that the Cornwall Clan will use special occasions to cause chaos.
We know that they have a grudge with Dave.
    Did anyone else get sick?
Did anybody at the party especially the women have a “feeling” something was not right?
Was there a special drink or meal?
When you look back you can always see the Clan calling card.
They have done this to Shelley and I so don’t discount it.
Your Dr. will not want to go here. They never do. But you should insist on a toxicology test.
The Clan is still alive and well and if you are in their cross hairs be careful.
Vigilance is the order of the day.

Sorry I’m late in replying David.

Thankfully the answer to your questions is no. Apparently Dave wasn’t feeling quite up to snuff for about a week. Clearly heart problems.
