Oral submissions continue at 0930 hours (9: 30 am)  tomorrow morning, Tuesday 24 February 2009.  The roster for the day is as follows:

9:30 am – 10:30 am: Father Charles MacDonald/Doug Seguin/Estate of Ken Seguin

10:45 am – 12:45 pm: Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services

1:45 pm – 3:45 pm:  Ministry of the Attorney General

I spent the day in Cornwall  – was able to catch a ride – pick up and delivery service again.  I am very appreciative, thankful and fortunate 🙂

As for being in the Weave Shed for the day, well – mixed feelings there.  Initially I wondered what I was doing there listening to Helen Daley talk ephebophilia and contradict herself time and time again, and all the while lawyers for the OPP and CPS amused themselves with their blackberries and S/Sgt Garry Derochie fidgeted away in the front row of the bleachers.

The trip proved worthwhile when Dallas Lee gave his submission.  Excellent.  Well done Dallas.  Well done.  That did my heart good 🙂  So much was said which needs saying.  Applause when he finished.  A well deserved round of applause.  I will post the transcript in the morning.

The written submissions are posted on the Cornwall Public Inquiry website.  I will get them posted on theinquiry.ca tomorrow.  Meanwhile they can be accessed here.  I haven’t time to go through them right now but took a quick boo at the 400 + poison pen from the Cornwall Police Service.  It looks to me like the Cornwall police outdid themselves on this one – the darn thing is dripping with malice.  Must read it before I say more 🙂

Enough for now,

Sylvia

Interesting submissions Sylvia…nothing surprising…nothing unexpected and nothing new.

    I did like Lee’s submission – EXCELLENT!

Fitxpatrick’s submission took me a little aback. Seems she got cited for professional misconduct after her testimony. What’s with that??? Professional repreccusions for testifying at the Cornwall Inquiry? Give me a break! What did testifying do to her career? Thank God she had her own lawyer – obviously she needed one!

You’ve read them?! Way to go!! As always you’re way ahead of me RealityChecker 🙂

Yes. Isn’t that something? Geraldine Fitzpatrick cited with misconduct. But, it fits the package doesn’t it?

I only skimmed the summaries and I have to admit – it’s what I expected from the parties – the blame game begins!!!
But what else is new huh?
