24 DAYS TO FREEDOM DAY: 04 October 2008.
Time served behind bars for caring about children and losing faith in the administration of justice:
207 days.
Perry served a six month sentence for civil contempt of court!!! He is now serving an additional 30 day sentence for criminal contempt of court. No early release. Unlike other inmates Perry will serve every single day.
This is the institutional response to allegations of childhood sexual abuse.

Perry is on his way “home.” Yesterday he was packed up and moved to the detention centre in Lindsay, Ontario. Today he was supposedly bound for the Ottawa Carleton Detention Centre. He should be there now (3 pm) – but he’s not.
Helen was supposed to fly back to Duncan, B.C. tomorrow. She has just re-scheduled her flight. She will not leave until she has assurance Perry is relocated and settled. At this point she doesn’t know where he is. He presumably left Lindsay around 9 this morning.
Helen’s birthday by the way is one week away, 17 September 2008. Greetings can be sent to:

The 17 th of September marks one full year since Perry & Helen first took the stand at the Cornwall Public Inquiry. It was Helen’s birthday.
Perry took the stand. He had this to say:
MR. DUNLOP: Number one, I have been lied to and forced here against my will today. I want that to be on the record. I’ve been forced to leave my children, my business and my community in British Columbia to come here.
I live in fear for my health and my safety of my family, including my three girls who I had to leave. I have no faith in the Ontario criminal justice system or the mandate of this Inquiry. I am the scapegoat.
This has been a cover-up since 1993 and it continues to be a cover-up to this day. Over the past 14 years, I have cooperated, given all my evidence and testimony over and over again. There is nothing more I can add. The victims and their families are the heroes and the truth-sayers here.
I have nothing more to say at this time.
I’d say there’s been a lot of water under the bridge since Helen’s last birthday!
Which reminds me yet again: Why has Charlie, an “alleged” molester, been given preferential treatment? Why was Charlie not, like Perry, forced to take the stand?
Why was Charlie not subpoened? Why not? I can not think of one good reason why the inquiry let Charlie take a bye. Not one. Nor can I think of one good reason why the other real and “alleged” molesters of Cornwall have not been subpoened.
What makes Charlie and his confreres hands off and better than Perry when it comes to subpoenas and judicial coercion?

Bill Carriere, who took the stand yesterday, resumed his testimony this morning, Wednesday 10 September 2008.
It’s not getting any better 🙁
We heard that in 1995 CAS was alerted that convicted molester Nelson Barque was seen in the company of an 8-year-old child. They couldn’t find Barque!
They let it go!!! Just, ….let it go.
I am beyond words.

Dallas Lee must be quite sick. Someone else from Ledroit Beckett will fill in and conduct Angelo Towndale’s cross-examination on Friday. Towndale apparently didn’t want to wait over the up-coming three week recess to finish.
I am not surprised Dallas is sick. It has been a gruelling schedule wading through muck and more and filth for three long years. With rare exception Dallas has been on his own in there. There is only so much one person can handle.
Hope you are feeling better soon Dallas.
Enough for now

From Glaude’s November 17, 2006 RULING ON AN APPLICATION FOR CONFIDENTIALITY RELATING
THE IDENTITY OF FATHER CHARLES MACDONALD….
and I quote…”
In addition, while Father MacDonald is not the focus of this Inquiry, he is a central figure in the events, which led to its creation and he has been publicly associated to the issues surrounding the Inquiry for many years.”
NOW…do we want to compare quotes of the same nature we have heard about Perry Dunlop being a “key witness” to another so called “CENTRAL FIGURE” and ask how this “CENTRAL FIGURE” got out of testifying at the Cornwall Public Inquiry and NOT thrown in jail???
WHERE’S MACDONALD??? PUT HIM ON THE STAND!!! If not – throw him in jail for 6 months for contempt. After all Glaude is the one who said MacDonald IS a CENTRAL FIGURE in the events which led to the creation of the Cornwall Public Inquiry!!!
FAIR IS FAIR!!!
Reality Checker; I liked you before I met you, and now that I have met you it is great to put a face to the brains. Keep it up, we love you here.
I wish I knew how to wink on this thing!!!
Thanks!!!
