24 DAYS TO FREEDOM DAY:  04 October 2008.

Time served behind bars for caring about children and losing faith in the administration of justice:

207 days.

Perry served a six month sentence for civil contempt of court!!!  He is now serving an additional 30 day sentence for criminal contempt of court. No early release.  Unlike other inmates Perry will serve every single day.

This is the institutional response to allegations of childhood sexual abuse.

****

Perry’s “home.”  He’s back at the Ottawa Carleton Detention Centre – arrived just around or after supper.  He was on a sort of pick up and delivery run from Lindsay with stops at virtually every detention centre along the way.

He’s in good cheer.  CIA is still there.  When Perry left CIA was getting hoarse.  CIA’s  voice is back 🙂  The message for today is:  “When you meet real people they tell you the deepest secrets.”

Lunch en route was a cheese sandwich with a bag of juice.

Supper was in the OCDC bullpen:  a big spicy sausage, sort of an Italian sausage; spiral noodles and tomato sauce; overcooked broccoli.

But, overcooked broccoli or no, he’s back.  As close to home as possible 🙂

Helen and the whole family will be relieved!

24 days 🙂

Enough for now

Sylvia

August 19 to late September 10. How is that 22 days for a quick trip to court in Toronto for three hours before the judges. Helen was kept in the dark a lot of that time not knowing where he was or what was going on. I wonder how Glaude would like to be treated like this. He can dish it out but could he take it?
