Hearings are to resumed at 0930 hours (9:30 am) this morning, Friday, 25 April 2008. I don’t know who will be taking the stand. Leo Courville is back to complete his testimony. More tap dancing in the offing. More circling the wagons to defend former Chief Claude Shaver and his acting successor Carl Johnson.

Lots of politics here. Lots of politics.

It’s Friday. That means the day will wrap at at 1400 hours (2 pm). No lunch break per se.

I am getting a blog of yesterday ready to post. I wanted to check the transcripts first and also do a little digging around first. It was quite a day. All I can say is the dyke is springing leaks left right and centre. The public was royally deceived. The police and the police board took what can only be called pains to cover-up the abysmal investigative failures within the police service, at least as they related to the sex abuse allegations against Father Charles MacDonald and Ken Seguin.

Some would call it cover-up

More to come…

Enough for now
