Hearings have wrapped up for the day.  I listened to S/Sgt. Garry Derochie as I did a bit of cleaning up and carried on with getting ready to head off for the first leg of the trip to Toronto) Departure 15 minutes!)

Hearing resume at 9:30 am.  Gary Derochie will continue his  teistimony.

I can not believe the energy, effort and time expended by the Cornwall Police Service and others to “get” Perry on something.  If half those resources had gone to investigating the allegations and or “rumour” against three alleged paedophiles who were known by police to be out walking the streets (Ken Seguin, Father Charles MacDonald and Malcolm MacDonald) we wouldn’t be where we are today – and neither would Perry.

They were relentless.

Sickening.

I will spend the time to pore through the Derochie transcripts when I can.  There is a lot in there.  Not so much about what an alleged paedophile did to an alleged victim, but what I take as the ruthless attempts to pin something – anything – on Perry.

Anyway, off to Toronto to be there when Perry is escorted in to the courthouse.

The weather forecast is perhaps ominous.  We plan to launch bright and early in the morning and take our time.
