Hearings resume at 09:30 hours (9:30 am) tomorrow morning, (Tuesday 13 November 2007)

Former Progressive Conservative MPP, lawyer and former district court judge Garry Guzzo is scheduled to take the stand tomorrow and Wednesday.

I will be quite amazed if they get Guzzo on and off the stand in two days.  He badgered the powers that be relentlessly about Cornwall and didn’t hesitate to speak his mind and put his thoughts on paper.  I would guess he became a persona no grata in certain quarters when his Progressive Conservative party was in power at Queen’s Park.

If you haven’t done so already I strongly recommend you read the following Guzzo letters to get a feel for what evidence we can anticipate

18 September 1998: Garry Guzzo letter to Premier Michael Harris

23 February 1999: Garry Guzzo Letter to Premier Michael Harris

03 April 1999: Garry Guzzo letter to Premier Mike Harris’ Chief of Staff, Ron McLaughlin

14 January 2000: Garry Guzzo letter to newly appointed Attorney General Jim Flaherty

I believe that at the very least the Cornwall Police, Ontario Provincial Police and office of the Attorney General will be keen to sink their teeth into Garry Guzzo and shake him about. And note, Guzzo talked a “ring.”  That’s verboten.  We’ll have to see how commission counsel deals with that 🙂

Note too that I posted

Many months ago a I posted a small portion of Perry Dunlop’s Will State.  Today I got back at it.  It’s now all scanned and converted to text – now it’s a case of re-formatting and then getting it laid out for posting.

This is Perry’s “story.”  Perry wanted to read it into the record.  Justice Glaude wasn’t interested, indeed, if Glaude has his way Perry will  be charged with contempt of court.

I’ll see how far I can get with it tonight.  Keep an eye on New to the Site on the Home page.  As I finish and post each of the four parts I will make a note on New to the Site.

Enough for now,
