Vindictive persecution

Things still aren’t working properly which means I am still unable to get new articles posted on the website. Therefore to keep you up-to-date I will post two articles or excerpts here on Sylvia’s Site. I am also including an email I received yesterday. I believe it reflects the thoughts of countless persons regarding the despicable and, as the writer so aptly put it, “vindictive persecution” (read; institutional response) to Perry Dunlop, a whistleblower intent only on upholding the law and protecting children.

As I have said before, what has happened in Cornwall and to the Dunlops et al will go down in history as one of the greatest shames of the nation.

First a reminder that hearings resume at 14:00 hours (2 pm) this afternoon, Monday, 22 October 2007. Carole Hesse is scheduled to take the stand. I think this may be Carole Deschamps so have posted an excerpt of Deschamp’s statement below.

Perry Dunlop‘s former lawyer Charles Bourgeois is scheduled to take the stand Wednesday (24th) and Thursday (25th).

According to AM News 1220 OPP commissioner Julian Fantino is also scheduled to testify this week. There will also be testimony regarding the role of the media. I would venture a guess the latter will entail if not focus on discussion regarding the perceived pros and cons of Dick Nadeau’s projecttruth2 website.

Here are the postings and the email:

(1) Fantino To Testify At Inquiry

Cornwall News AM 1220

October 22, 2007 — O-P-P Commissioner, Julian Fantino, is scheduled to testify at the Cornwall Public Inquiry this week. Over ten years ago, former city police officer Perry Dunlop provided then former London police chief, Julian Fantino, a binder of documents relating to child sex abuse allegations. Earlier this year, Fantino said he some knowledge of these events and would be willing to testify if the commission ask him to. Fantino was named O-P-P Commissioner in January of this year. The role of the media will also be examined this week.

(2) Excerpt from Carole Deschamps 13 December 1996 statement

I remember one particular time when I went to Ken’s home in Summerstown I observed Claude Shaver and Malcolm MacDonald visiting at Ken’s. The two of them were in the process of leaving and I had to move my car so that they could get out. The time that I saw Claude Shaver and Malcolm MacDonald would have been when Ken first bought the place in Summerstown.

Malcolm MacDonald was always at Ken’s house. Malcolm is a lawyer who has represented my brothers. I have known Malcolm as long as I have known Ken.

Father Charles MacDonald was there almost everytime that I would show up. We would joke about him being a part of the furniture. It seemed when Father Charlie was at Ken’s there was not the same attitude of friendliness you would feel unwelcome.

I got along well with Ken, he was upfront with me and told me a long time ago that he was a homosexual. Ken once told me that he and Father Charles MacDonald were homosexual lovers. Ken also told me that Malcolm MacDonald was his lover. Malcolm and Ken were always together.

I remember that Ken would take young offenders fishing with him all the time. I remember that Gerry, Mark Menard and Pitou (Harvey Berry Jr.) were at Ken’s alot. I know that Ken Seguin would often lend money to probation clients. Ken would also take them on field trips and give them booze. It was well known that if you wanted to party go to Ken Seguin’s home in Summerstown.

Malcolm and Ken shared alot of the same clients. They had a good set up, both in the same building.

I believe that there was a nice little pedophile ring going until Perry Dunlop cam along. I believe that alot of people knew what was going on with Malcolm, Ken and Father Charles. They tried very hard to keep this case hidden from everyone

(3) The Email

Hi Sylvia,

It occurred to me today that this whole ‘shoot the messenger’ charade called the Cornwall Inquiry, can so much more easily take place somewhere like Cornwall, Ontario. In an industrially and governmentally important, industrial,’up-market’ place like Toronto, or any other progressive city in Canada, such antics would have received ‘cross-Canada attention’ and been dealt with immediately and definitively years ago. Policemen who uncover such heinous crimes as pedophilia, deserve the nation’s gratitude – not vindictive persecution.

“Vindictive persecution.” Yes indeed. Descriptive and well chosen words.Enough for now,

Sylvia
