What can I say? Another country heard from. After months upon months of deafening silence from the mainstream media the Toronto Globe & Mail via Margaret Wente jumps back into the fray pointing fingers at the other mainstream media!
Wente last covered Cornwall in 2001 when she rallied to the “blameless” Jacques Leduc’s defence. Six years later she’s back and once again talking about witches, defending the “innocent” and castigating the victims.
Perhaps Ms.Wente isn’t aware that talk of witch hunts in the same breath as talk of the Cornwall sex abuse scandal is verboten? Well, in honesty perhaps I should say verboten for victims. You may recall that Steve Parisien was accused of calling the inquiry a witch hunt and look what happened to him. Justice Glaude booted him off to the “proper authorities” who promptly charged him with obstruction of justice. (Speaking of which please do remember that Steve needs prayers and financial assistance to defend himself). Anyway, as long as Jacques Leduc doesn’t show up on the witness stand claiming Ms. Wente called and told him the inquiry is a witch hunt she’s probably safe. My uneducated guess is Leduc won’t show so no fear there 🙂
I have nearly finished the next portion of Ron Leroux’ testimony to date. This one will address who’s in and who’s out.
Nearly supper time now so I probably won’t get it wrapped up until later this evening. As soon as I post it I’ll let you know.
Enough for now,
Sylvia
