The schedule for next week is finally up:

Monday and Tuesday, June 18 & 19, 2007:  Witness Requesting Confidentiality

Tuesday and Wednesday, June 19 & 20, 2007:  Gerald Renshaw

Hearings resume at 2 pm (14:00 EST) Monday 18 June 2007. I have no idea who this witness requesting confidentiality is.  It seems the hope is that he/she will be finished on Tuesday.  Gerry Renshaw will then take the stand.

I have posted Gerry’s 05 December 1996 statement.  Please take the time to read it.  I think I can guess where the examination in chief and cross-examination of Gerry will go.  I would be happy to be mistaken but I do believe the object of the exercise will be to discredit the witness and his damning testimony by asking the stereotypical Perry questions.

I will also be interested to see if anyone thinks to ask Gerry if he ever saw Jacques Leduc around those fellows 🙂  Seems to me that’s at least as relevant if more so than how often he saw Perry Dunlop.

Note the happy news.  Crown attorneys and police officers can now be sued 🙂

Also take a look at the London Diocese’s Draft “A Safe Environment Policy for the Diocese of London.”  That’s the Diocese of London Ontario.  Read it carefully.  Note that yet again physical abuse is lumped in with sexual abuse.  This seems to be the social engineering norm these days.  That aside, note that “sexual abuse” of minors “can be traumatic…”  Can be?  I don’t know a single incident where it wasn’t.

The Diocese is asking for feedback.  If you have suggestions, send them along – contact information is included at the bottom of Draft.  Bishop Durocher and the bishops of Canada are no doubt keeping abreast of how this policy evolves.  Now’s the chance to have your say.

Finally, note that Colleen Parrish has been talking about the new mentorship program.  This I believe this is in actuality the mentor a paedophile program.  The thrust is on quietly reintegrating paadophiles into the community.  No one but a chosen few know they have a paedophile in their midst.  I think there are obvious and serious problems with this.

I still have Kevin Upper’s testimony to complete.  I haven’t forgotten and will get it done as soon as possible.

And, of course, it’s Father’s Day.  Happy Father’s Day to all fathers.  It’s going to be a beautiful sunny hot day so roll out the BBQ, put up your feet, soak up the sun, relax and enjoy your day 🙂

Enough for now,
