I have nearly finished posting the Victims Group affidavits. I need to double check names – I think I am missing one in my count, along with one which I have been looking for and just can’t find. If time permits tomorrow I will double check with a set of fresh eyes 🙂 Until then, here’s the latest inquiry-related news from “Today’s News” on seawaywalley.com:
Inquiry Costs Police Service A Bundle
April 13, 2006 – We knew it would be expensive, but the Cornwall Police Service is spending more than they estimated on the Project Truth Inquiry. Close to half a million dollars have already gone to lawyer’s fees and other costs as the service prepares to testify in front of the commission. They thought half a million would take them through half a year of testimony. City Hall would like the Province to pick up some of that tab since that money if coming from city coffers.
A more detailed account of the story was published in the Standard Freeholder.
I have my thoughts, but I’d love to hear yours. Any comments?

(P.S. the Blog software is defaulted in Greenwich time. That means that midnight on the Blog is 8pm my time. It gets a bit confusing. It means that I am posting this on the 13th at 8.30 pm my time, but the Blog indicates it was posted at 00.30 on Good Friday. I have been told it is best to leave it on the default but I may eliminate the confusion and re-set it :))
