   It took negative reactions by members of the laity and priests in the Diocese of St. Catherine to finally get bishop Wingle to state where he has been on sabbatical. His continuing desire to be “hidden” follows the pattern of secrecy so often relied upon by the hierarchy.

   Where is Bishop Wingle? Is he ill or simply sickened like the rest of us catholics who are disappointed with the church over the sex abuse charges.

   I could be wrong, but it looks to me as though that picture may have been taken while he was in Jerusalem? back when he disappeared and no one knew where he was, at least not until someone blogged and told us
