I left a message on your answering machine requesting a call back. I have not heard back. I realize that you are probably a very busy man so I shall try this route.
I am a free lance journalist. I operate a web- blogsite: www.theinquiry.ca/wordpress. The site contains a data base of priests in Canada charged or accused of activities unbecoming their state in life – most of the accusations relate to child sex abuse. There is also a smaller data base which is under development dealing with prominent Catholics. The latter data base includes teachers.
I understand that Mr. Raymond Gareth Stanford has been employed at the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Centre for some time, perhaps two years?
Are you aware that Mr. Stanford is a convicted child molester?
I am trying to understand how this has happened Mr. Snow. How can it be that a former teacher convicted of child sex abuse is now in working in a sports facility frequented by children and youth?
Was a Vulnerable Sector Check conducted before Mr. Stanford was hired? If not, why not?
If in fact you are aware of Mr. Stanford’s conviction I must ask why you have chosen to place the children and youth who frequent the centre at risk.

Standford was my grade 8 teacher at Bosco and I remember the day that he wasn’t allowed to come back to teach because he was found out about.
Shocking to hear that is currently works with children at Newfoundland & Labrador Sports Centre. How on earth does this happen…. I feel sick.
I have had no response from him Natasha, and ran into brick walls at every other attempt I made to have someone in a position of authority do something to get this convicted molester away from those children.
