GANANOQUE – A Gananoque man has been charged in connection to historical sexual assaults that allegedly occurred three to four decades ago.

Brian Lucy, 67, appeared in Brockville court today (Dec. 21) on a charge of gross indecency.

The former church organist and lifelong Gananoque resident was transported from a federal penitentiary to make an appearance in the Ontario Court of Justice.

Since October 2015, Lucy has been serving a five year prison sentence after pleading guilty to possessing child pornography, indecent assault and gross indecency.

The victims in those cases were teenage boys though police have not said who the alleged victim is in these latest allegations.

The occurrences are said to have happened in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
