Former residential school supervisor and convicted sex offender Paul Leroux has been granted full parole.
The 74-year-old was released on Dec. 30, a year after being found guilty of 10 counts of indecent assault.
Paul Leroux was sentenced to three years in prison in December 2013 for sexually abusing boys more than 50 years ago at Beauval Indian Residential School in Saskatchewan. He was granted full parole in December. (CBC)
He was sentenced to three years in prison in December 2013 for sexually abusing boys more than 50 years ago at Beauval Indian Residential School in Saskatchewan.
Leroux had previously been convicted for sexually abusing boys at Grollier Hall in Inuvik, N.W.T., during the 1970s. In 1998, Leroux was sentenced to 10 years in prison for those crimes.
The parole board will not say where Leroux is serving his parole.
