OTTAWA — A self-employed clown and volunteer Beaver leader with Scouts Canada faces additional charges of sexual assault and sex with a minor after being charged with child pornography offences earlier in October.

Police executed a search warrant at two separate Napanee addresses. They seized camera equipment and two computers containing images of child sexual abuse.

Randy Edward Miller, 40, was charged with two counts of possession and one count of distributing child pornography on Oct. 5.

Additional charges of sexual assault and sexual interference with a person under 16 were laid on Oct. 12.

Miller was released on conditions and will appear in court in Napanee on Nov. 23.

Members of the OPP child sexual exploitation section, the Napanee OPP and the Toronto Police Service were involved in the case.

Toronto police carried out the online undercover portion of the investigation.

Police continue to investigate.
