Former Catholic Charities employee charged with sexual abuse and child porn

(Towson, MD) The Baltimore County Police Department has arrested Tony Chestnut, 56, of the 1200-block of Halstead Road, Parkville, MD, and charged him with Possession and Distribution of Child Pornography and other related offenses.

A search and seizure warrant was served on his home after detectives received information that Tony Chestnut was in possession of child pornography. Detectives were able to recover movies that were found to contain child pornography.

Another video recovered showed Mr. Chestnut sexually abusing a developmentally disabled adult male.

At the time of the investigation, Mr. Chestnut was employed as a group home caregiver for developmentally disabled adults with Associated Catholic Charities. The victim was later identified as someone that Mr. Chestnut had contact with during his course of employment.
