Priest Diocese of Saint George, Newfoundland. Ordained 1976. Charged 1992. GUILTY plea. Two year sentence. Seems to be out of the priesthood. Does anyone know where he is now? Does anyone know what community and parish he was serving in in the North West Territories when he was charged in 1992?

A Roman Catholic priest was charged Monday with six counts of sexual assault on an underaged girl during the early 1980s.
Rev. Hillary Maher, 42, pleaded not guilty in provincial court and elected trial by judge and jury.
He will be back in court Dec. 11 for a preliminary hearing.
Maher is accused of assaulting the girl — who was between 14 and 16 — between 1981 and 1984 while he was parish priest in Stephenville.
He now is priest at a parish in the Northwest Territories.
