(1) Donald Grecco (Diocese of St. Catharine’s Ontario)
Ex priest anbd previoulsy convicted molester Donald Grecco has a court date today on his new set of charges:
St. Catharine’s: 01 March 2016: 09:00 am, “to be spoken to,” courtroom #2, Robert S. K. Welch St Catharine’s courthouse, St. Catharine’s, Ontario (59 Church St.)
Please post comments or links regarding the outcome. Without doubt it will be the setting of a new date, but it would be interesting to find out what is said in court, and if Grecco is or is not in attendance.
Please keep the complainants in your prayers.
(2) Father Stephen Amesse (archdiocese of Ottawa, Ontario)
There was a behind closed doors pre-trial hearing for Father Stephen Amesse at the Ottawa courthouse yesterday. That, alas, is routine procedure. There will have been a new court date set. With luck I will be able to get that date later this afternoon. If I reach an answering machine we will have to wait until tomorrow.
As always, keep the complainant in your prayers.
As much as I hate relaying my personal woes at times it is essential to ensure that you understand why I am tardy in posting and so on Sylvia’s Site. The latest is not really a woe, in the true sense of the word, but there will inevitably be associated woes to occupy my time 🙁
Yesterday I bought a new computer. It was not totally planned, but was in the offing. As you may recall, a few months ago I was in crisis mode with a dying computer. An unused computer ‘gifted’ me by a family member allowed me to carry on, and – important for me – continue to utilize Windows 7.
Well, while that ‘new’ computer carried me through a crisis, there were problems, plus it just does not have the necessary oomph.
I am now sitting at my desk with a new computer waiting to be hooked up. That’s good news and bad news. The good news is it seems to be a good machine which will do what needs doing: the bad news is it comes with Windows 10 installed, plus of course a new machine means it’s time yet again to transfer files from one machine to the other, set up emails and upload software and so on.
So, here goes! Say a wee prayer that all goes well and that I can quickly wrap my head around Windows 10 🙂
(Yes, for those who wonder, the Microsoft Outlook email duplicate issue was resolved :))
Enough for now,
