The Crown has concluded his submissions. He is asking for 17 years (25 minus eight for time served)

Day Three of Eric #dejaeger sentencing hearing begins. Court will hear from Crown and defence how much time they think he should serve.
Hearings resume at 1:30 EST when defence will present final submissions. Imagine, no matter what he gets as far as jail time goes Dejager will probably get double time for time served!
