Stay strong

Home around 7 pm 🙂   A wonderful trip, and so very hard to say our goodbyes, but –  nice to pull into the drive-way safe and sound.  And I must say it was treat to drive in and see all my flowers in full bloom.  A dear friend stopped by to water regularly while I was away – she has a green thumb, I don’t don’t, and it shows.  My plants fared better with me gone 🙂

I’m bushed!  Church in morning and will then finish up the remainder of the unpacking process.  Next week I’ll get those emails which are sitting in my laptop Outbox under way.

A reminder that Father Leo Bastien‘s Preliminary hearing starts on Monday morning (15 July 2013) 10:00 am, courtroom #11,  Windsor Ontario court house. As I said before, please mark your calendar, and please, if you are within driving distance, do try to attend.  My thoughts and prayers are with the complainants.  Stay strong.  Speak the truth.  Don’t let anyone try to put words in your mouth.  Don’t be ashamed – and never ever forget for a moment that the shame is not yours to bear.

Enough for now,

Sylvia

The judges Mother passed away last week and The Creep Bastien will not see the inside of the court this week. Remanded again, again and again. I have decided to proceed with withdrawing my charge. I have lost the will to fight this. I believe my self preservation to be more important at this stage of my life. Good luck to all others.

Please don’t act in haste Wilson. I am sure this is difficult for all of you, but please try to see it through. The others need you, and you yourself may well regret your decision when it is too late.

Are you sure it is postponed for the entire week? Someone who attended the courthouse this morning told me that it has been rescheduled to start tomorrow morning (Tuesday), same time. Can anyone confirm?

  2. Sylvia says:

Wilson, I now see that several people say that the proceedings will resume tomorrow morning at the same time. By the sound of it things will be under way tomorrow morning. Please please rethink your decision.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and with the others who found the courage to come forward.

    Wilson,

As a victim myself, I understand how frustrating it is to have these important dates postponed time and time again. I can’t help but wonder if it is not a ploy of the ‘powers at be’ to do this in the hopes of putting all victims in such despair that they say Fxxk It, and withdrawal. Please don’t give them that power over you now. You have come so far, you and all 9 other victims of this monster. So many of us are supporting you and keeping all of you in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. This has been a devastating week for all of you. I am so sorry that our judicial system allows for this to happen.

Please, hold off on taking any formal action regarding your claim. If when the time arrives and the trial is actually in place and you still choose to withdrawal, do so then. Like Sylvia said earlier, don’t do anything today that you may deeply regret later. You are not alone.

    Brenda

You are right Wilson – I hear now that the hearings for this week have been cancelled and, as yet, no new date set for the preliminary hearing.

I suppose no one has any control over the death of a judge’s relative, but is there not another judge who could take the bench?

My heart goes out to all the complainants at this difficult and frustrating time. How many times can I say ‘Hang in there’ and ‘Stay strong’? But I will say it again: Hang in there all of you. Stay strong. You can see this through. Please please don’t give up on your desire to see justice done.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
