Yes, 11 years!!
I know, it’s not the 13 which and I many others had hoped for, but – 11 years?! In Canada? Can you believe it?

Amazing. Is Newfoundland going to lead the way in handing down sentences which are a little more than a “Tut. Tut. Bad boy”?
Anyway, it is a breath of fresh air to see 11 years for a convicted clerical molester.
Well done all of you victims. Your pursuit of justice was not in vain.
And, hats off to the Crown who argued for a sentence which comes closer to reflecting the horror of the crime, and to the judge who handed down the sentence.
There should be more news out shortly.
