Good news.

Long past due….

The RCMP has been called in to handle John MacDonald’ s complaints of obstruction of justice against Justice’s Peter Griffiths and Robert Pelletier and former Cornwall Crown attorney Murray MacDonald.  (The referenced  justices were both Crowns attorney involved in sex abuse allegations related to the Cornwall sex abuse scandal and cover-up.)

I believe it goes without saying that John’s allegations should have been turned over to the RCMP two years ago.  For whatever reason that wasn’t done.  But, we can be thankful for small mercies – it is now, finally, in the hands of the RCMP.

John is to meet with the RCMP this week.

We can only hope and pray that John’s complaint will be taken seriously, investigated thoroughly and, for a change in all things Cornwall scandal related, be truly independent and impartial.

We shall see….

I got waylaid with computer issues over the weekend.  Back at the Skinner business today and still find myself frequently obliged to rifle through transcripts trying to make sense of testimony which seems to be or is contradictory.  I am settling for the fact that on the one hand  I may never be able to make sense of some things, and that on the other as I carry on I may come across something which brings clarity to some otherwise cloudy and/or contradictory evidence.

So I will carry on.  My only promise is that as soon as I have it ready it will be posted :)

Easter week.  A good time to mediate upon suffering and injustice.  Much to think about.
And with the start of Easter week came a good healthy snowfall.  It snowed steadily this morning.  Big fat snowfalkes.  Beautiful really.  But, after days of thaw and melt there is not a blade of grass to be seen.  I was just about to pack away my winter boots, but – I’ll wait :)

Enough for now,

Sylvia
